Sorry I've been kinda AWOL recently. School's gotten uber busy and life's thrown a few things at me the last couple weeks. However, stuff should be calming down considerably in a few more weeks and I'll finally be able to sort through my mounting messages.

Reading week is next week, and although I have..more homework to do than I'd care to think about, I'm certainly going to have some time to finish off some of the WIPs that are rattling around my gallery.

So in short. YAY ARETZ. I'm also psyched to do some more concept stuff for next year's film. As much as I enjoy working in a group environment, I think I'm going to enjoy working on a pet project even more.

Alrighty, off to the school to animate.

In other news, I've kinda been MIA since Sunday. I had an interview with March Entertainment on Monday morning, and then came home and crashed. I've got some gross cold-that's-not-a-cold and have pretty much been asleep since the beginning of the week. I'm starting to feel better now though, which is just as well because I have to go into the school later and catch up on some homework and such.

Other'n that, this month's been..interesting so far. Had an awesome time with friends last Thursday when we all mobbed to Mandarin for Chinese New Year. And then the following day got stuck in the school during a three hour lock-down. Some teacher thought they saw a man with a gun enter the college, turns out it was a photography student with a tripod. The school called out the cops, ambulances, swat teams..the whole shebang, for nothing. Still, better to be safe than sorry. We had a blast barricading the door in the studio and sitting without internet/phone reception for three hours

In other news, today is a snow day..so I plan to spend it catching up on art-related things and staying at home where it's warm. I have a few commissions, trades and gifts to finish up as well as concept stuff for my fourth year film. Mmm, fishies.

I've also got a lot of "new" (mostly from last year) art I had to scan. I guess I should upload that today. Uh. We'll see.

I'm so bad at keeping this current.

Christmas was alright, hope you all had a better one though. Started the semester late but I've enjoyed my first week back. Things are looking awesome for our group film, I'm still really excited about it. Everyone's applying for an internship position this week onwards, which we're all nervous about, but although I know I'm more in the bottom-middle of the year in terms of artistic ability, I'm not too worried. Wherever I end up working it'll be a useful and probably fun experience :]

As far as art goes, I'm doing a big scanning session later today/tomorrow so expect to see some stuff cropping up from the last year or so.

Hum, I think that's pretty much it. I lead a boring life, lol.
